At the invitation of American Qualcomm Corp, Professor Liu Chuntian (Renmin University of China), Professor Lee Hwang (Korea University, Secretary Commissoner), Professor Meng Yanbei (Renmin University of China, Secretary Commissoner) of the Market & Regulation Law Center (MRLC) participated the 2014 LeadershIP Forum from Mar. 20th to 21st  2014 at Qualcomm Corp headquarters in San Diego California, US.

During the forum, the executive vice president of Qualcomm Corp Don Rosenberg delivered the keynote speech “The IP Policy Debate in the High-Tech World”.The rest sessions of the forum are PART I “Patent Hold-up or Hold-out? Theory and Evidence”, PART II “Innovation Economics: A New Paradigm”, PART III “Historical Perspectives: Cyclical Debates and Emerging Technologies”, PART IV “Standard Setting, Licensing and FRAND”, PART V “Antitrust and IP: Access to Justice” and PART VI “Valuation of Patent Rights: Royalty Rates and Base”. Through the discussions and exchanges, every participant of the forum, which includes scholars, officials, entrepreneurs and lawyers, achieved fruitful results.
